All of our items will be machine washed, we do not hand or pressure wash. We have the appropriate cleaners needed for synthetics, down/feathers, oiled canvas etc. Items are line dried in a 75F room with dehumidifiers and fans circulating 24/7. After a day of drying, many insulated blankets will feel dry to the touch but the insulation is not dry. We hang blankets until we know they are dry throughout. We do not have any mechanical dryers. The targeted turn around time is 2 weeks. We also try our best to remove boot black off the English pads and any horse hair that is left on the pad. We always recommend getting in contact with your saddle pad manufacturer if you have any concerns about washing your saddle pad. We evaluate the blanket looking at age, general condition and what might be needed to bring it back to functionality. We try to match fabric color and type as close as possible. Additionally, we use new hardware where possible but may need to use used hardware to match hardware styles specific to your blanket. There is often a decision about lining repair; will the tears get bigger or are they catching hair? We may not be able to repair items which have hair, bedding, or foreign material accumulated in the lining. If we think the repair cost will be >$45 or the blanket is not worth repairing we will let you know.
